Alice In Wonderland
(Official Website / IMDB)
Look at that, fresh off the presses is the brand new Alice in Wonderland Trailer! It is a much longer cut of the teaser (obviously) and features the White Queen and Queen of Hearts Armies (They look like Bionacles…) and the rest of the crew. I gotta say, visually the movie looks super sweet, but after seeing Johnny Depp (who strongly looks like Elijia Wood) doing his Jack Sparrow in a different outfit, I was worried. NO LONGER! It looks sick. And we find out in this trailer that it is a sequel, not an origin story. Interesting…

Robin Hood
(Official Website / IMDB)
I am super stoaked to see Ridley and Crowe back together (who didn’t love Gladiator?! Ill tell you who. The communists…) but I am a little worried about this one. It has a beautiful visual style, but Russel is… well… old and fat. If he was playing the king maybe… but Robin Hood is the archetype of youth, and Maximus is not. He even refused the producers insistence that he loose weight for the roll. Heh. Roll. And to match his aging, they got Cate Blanchette as Marian, who is now a widower, not a young maiden. But I am not an agist. This movie still looks pretty sweet.

The Crazies
(Official Website / IMDB)
Oh Tad Hamilton, you so craaaaaaazy! The Crazies is remake of George A Romero’s classic directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara). The original teaser showed a bunch of mayhem with the REM version of Mad World playing. This new trailer is more action/horror oriented, but it still looks pretty solid. And how can you not look at that poster and not think it looks pretty cool? I’ve been aching for another action horror with a decent budget, hopefully this one can live up to the original.
